What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Data That Will Be Deleted

  • Your account profile information
  • Your email address and name
  • Your app preferences and settings
  • Your subscription history with us

Data That Will Be Retained

  • Anonymous usage statistics (non-identifiable)
  • Transaction records required by law

Note: We retain minimal anonymized data for legal compliance and service improvement.

Your Local Videos

Your recorded videos are stored only on your device in the Movies/DeliveryRecorder folder. We never have access to these files. Deleting your account will NOT delete your locally stored videos. To remove them, you must manually delete them from your device.

Cancel Your Subscription First

If you have an active subscription, please cancel it through Google Play before requesting account deletion to avoid future charges:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top right
  3. Tap "Payments & subscriptions" → "Subscriptions"
  4. Find Delivery Recorder and tap "Cancel subscription"

How to Delete Your Account

You can request account deletion using any of these methods:

Method 1: In-App

The easiest way to delete your account:

  1. Open Delivery Recorder app
  2. Tap the menu icon (☰)
  3. Select "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your decision

Method 2: Email Request

Send an email to request deletion:

  1. Use the email associated with your account
  2. Send to: [email protected]
  3. Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
  4. Include your full name in the message

Request Account Deletion

Fill out this form to request the deletion of your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

Deletion Timeline

What to Expect

  • Immediate: You will receive a confirmation email of your request
  • Within 7 days: Your account access will be deactivated
  • Within 30 days: All your personal data will be permanently deleted from our systems
  • Up to 90 days: Data may persist in encrypted backups, which are regularly purged
