Data Deletion vs. Account Deletion
This page allows you to request deletion of specific data while keeping your account active. If you want to delete your entire account and all associated data, please visit our Account Deletion page instead.
What Data Can Be Deleted?
Profile Information
Your name and profile details associated with your account. Note: Your email is required to maintain your account and subscription.
App Preferences
Your saved settings, preferences, and configurations. These will be reset to default values.
Usage Statistics
Any usage data and analytics associated with your account that we may have collected.
Activity History
Your app activity history and any logs associated with your account.
About Your Local Videos
Your recorded videos are stored only on your device in the Movies/DeliveryRecorder folder. We do NOT have access to these files and cannot delete them remotely. To delete your videos:
- From the app: Open menu (☰) → "Delete Old Videos" → Select a date
- Manually: Use your file manager to navigate to Movies/DeliveryRecorder and delete the desired folders
Data That Cannot Be Selectively Deleted
Some data is required to maintain your account or is retained for legal compliance:
- Email address: Required for account authentication and communication
- Subscription records: Required for billing and legal purposes
- Transaction history: Retained for tax and legal compliance
To delete this data, you must delete your entire account.
Request Data Deletion
Select the types of data you want to delete and submit your request. We will process it within 30 days.
What Happens Next?
Processing Timeline
- Immediate: You will receive a confirmation email of your request
- Within 7 days: We will verify your identity and process your request
- Within 30 days: Selected data will be permanently deleted from our systems
- Confirmation: You will receive an email confirming the deletion
